Although the weight of the frame of an ultralight manual wheelchair is a critical component for its selection, there are additional components that effect the efficiency and function of the manual wheelchair. This 2 hour course will examine those components with regard to weight and function. The participant will be able to identify these components and justify their use. During the presentation, the participant will learn strategies to assessing mobility needs and make appropriate recommendations of these components on an ultralight manual wheelchair. See attached power point presentation.
